Concept and Applications of Inverter

Analog Electronics

A Inverter is a electronic device which converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC).

INVERTER

A Inverter is a electronic device which converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC).

The inverter does not produce any Power; the power is provided by the DC source and Inverter converts it into A. C. Power and supplied to the Load.

Applications of Inverter

i. They are used as an Uninterruptible power supplies [UPS]

ii. Inverters are used in solar power systems

iii. These are used in switched mode power supply [SMPS].

iv. It is used in home to provide supply during main supply black out.
